Modern landscaping in a wooded area
Modernism and Nature
This contemporary landscaping project transforms a residence in a wooded setting into a structured and immersive spatial experience. The entrance, previously undefined, has been completely redesigned through a series of terraces that follow the natural topography of the land.
The integration of Corten steel risers provides a warm and lasting signature, echoing the colors of the residence. The natural stone retaining walls anchor the project in its context, while structuring the circulation.
A green roof on the garage extends the landscape onto the architecture, reinforcing the continuity between the building and nature. This feature also improves stormwater management and the site's ecological performance.
The backyard was designed with a minimalist aesthetic, featuring an architectural steel fence that redefines boundaries while maintaining visual openings towards the forest.
