Contemporary in Nature - Bromont
This residential landscaping project in Bromont illustrates the balance between contemporary architecture and an exceptional natural environment. Located in the heart of a vast wooded site, the residence adopts a simple and modern architectural style that harmoniously blends with the landscape.
The landscaping was designed to extend the architecture while respecting the natural character of the site. The rectangular swimming pool, with its clean lines, acts as a focal point and echoes the geometric forms of the residence. Its placement enhances the views of the forest while creating an elegant relaxation area.
Surrounding this more formal composition, the plantings favor a naturalistic approach. Ornamental grasses, abundantly flowering perennials, and organically curved borders create a gentle transition between the landscaped areas and the existing wooded area. Textures, colors, and blooms evolve with the seasons to offer a living and sustainable garden.
The natural stone walls, landscaped staircases, and various levels follow the topography of the land, minimizing the visual impact of the interventions while facilitating movement. Each element has been carefully considered to create an immersive experience where architecture and nature coexist with elegance.
This project demonstrates an approach where contemporary design integrates into the landscape rather than imposing itself upon it, offering a refined, timeless living environment deeply connected to its surroundings.
