Piscine à débordement moderne en bordure de la rivière Richelieu entourée d’arbres matures - Richard Bélisle Architecte paysagiste St-Mathias

AT THE BORDER

DU RICHELIEU

Aménagement paysager haut de gamme
Aux abord du Richelieu St-Mathias

Located on the banks of the Richelieu River, this high-end landscaping project illustrates a rigorous approach where regulatory constraints and contemporary design meet with precision.

The presence of a 10-meter riparian buffer zone necessitated a significant reduction in the developable area. Rather than limiting the site's potential, this constraint was used as a design lever to concentrate interventions within an optimized, structured, and highly functional space.

The site's pronounced topography allowed for the integration of a perfectly positioned infinity pool to maximize views of the river. All the landscaping—terrace, stairs, plantings, and low walls—is arranged around this centerpiece, creating visual continuity and an immersive experience.

The choice of materials, including natural stone, wood and glass, reinforces the contemporary character of the project while blending harmoniously into the riverside landscape.

This project was awarded the 3rd prize – Prestige Development category (2020), highlighting the quality of its design and execution.
